Looking at all the videos...Marc wants to defend, but I think the hungriness of Jilles is undeniable. He wanted TQ so bad.

I expect Jilles to handle his bizness

I always follow what Jilles does on his build videos, put some thick silicone grease between the plate and the diff half. It works great.

Excellent news and with Surikarn winning in 2002 and Marc taking his 3rd Worlds, this means that out of 6 WC, Tamiya have won 4. That's some going with the level of chassis and drivers out there.
Well Done

Looks like Marc may have won it with a gear diff.

Pics of Rheinard's car are on RedRC. Looks like he was running a gear diff as well...

Doesn't look too exciting. Why did they rip his motor apart?

In the pits interview, he said "my gear diff." Who knows?

Only things I've noticed from the pics is that he appears to have run the 1mm shims under the motor mount again, like we saw at Reedy, and I think the top deck is the one that comes with the LiPo chassis. HB springs. Otherwise, it looks a lot like a plain old 416X.
