Well run race program for sure. Scotty does awesome work on the mic. Though he credited the racers for making the program run so smoothly, which is partly true, though I thought he was selling himself a little short, as he played a big enough part in things and how the race program went for the week.

Good to see a number of people that I usually get to see at the DNC. By far the two best events I have traveled to, and well worth doing so, IMHO. I think I'm already planning on making the Cactus again next year. Hit the last outdoor one, have to hit the first indoor one. There's only one of each. LOL.

Thanks to all that helped in making the event what it was and what it's been known for all these years,
Adam, the whole SRS crew, both in the shop and around the track. Those guys busted some serious tails to make sure a lot of things were done and setup so people like this guy could come down for a week and play.

Also enjoyed seeing/meeting a number of racers/families that I might have met before and couldn't put a name to a face or faces, or those I hadn't met until this year.
Joe Lacey, John Watkins, Ashley Peeler (the Ausie duo, who did quite well), Scotty E., Ricky Gaynor, CJ, Humpty, Landon Lewis and family, Ron Schuur, and a host of others that I'm probably forgetting.

Looking to see all again next year.
Got home a couple of days ago.... I cant thank everyone enough for their help over the week, it was great to catch up with some good friends that i made in 2012 and even better to make some more this time around.
Big thanks to Lance Tanner who hooked myself and Ash up with all the Pit setup.

Track was extremley tough and technical at times and thats way i like it, i love the sugar and the atmosphere was electric especially on Sunday.

Congrats to all involved in putting this massive event together and congrats to all the winners and Joe Blow Average racers that make it a trully outstanding event.

See you all next year.........

Any update on the new facility. I thought I heard someone at Cactus say late May, is that still accurate?

I peeked in the front window the other night on the way home from W3. Didn't see much. I would think that if they were getting close you would hear a lot more buzz...

Not much to see from the front doors....

Trust me we are more excited than all of you are to have this all done. Progress is going forward and we are close to having everything from the city. Once we have all that in place we will let you know what is going on and when.

After a couple false starts per say we do not want to jump the gun this time.

More to come soon if all goes well. Like us on Facebook to hear more news.

Don't worry about it Tom nothing to be embarrassed about. I hear that tends to happen as you get older.

Sure would be nice to hear about the new track and what is going on with it. You post a last hurahh but nothing on new track. So something must be progressing with the new track
