We're racing 4WD minis at Asphalt Assault. 21.5T brushless or 27T brushed, open esc, mini wheels & mini rubber tires (no TC size), no TC style mini bodies. Bring it out to Harbor for the first leg on the 27th!

I've been running my Fujin at the Strictly races in Norridge. It'd be nice to see more drivers with 4WD minis.

Which motor hara use in his prototype? It seems it is like a Team Powers motor!

I'm going off a huge hunch and not the picture, but I think he'd most likely be using an LRP/Nosram motor since he's hooked up with them. Just a guess though

We run 21.5 or Silver Can motors in our class. No boost, must use realistic wheels and body (I.E. No TC style garbage in this class), bla bla bla... We just had our first CR/Mini class last week and it was a BLAST! The 54mm tires work wayyy better than the 60mm tires.

There aren't any metal replacements... yet. I have a strong feeling there is a certain somebody working on a drop in metal replacement.

Redbones seated some 18R axel pins into the plastic drive cup. Here's the post:

It seems like a pretty good fix. I've yet to try it since I've never broken one (knock on wood).

Ok, I will try to make it out there a couple times. I will get a 21.5 motor.

Questions??

Can someone help me out with my cup racer? I posted a thread in the Rookie-Zone section of the forums.

I would post a link to it but the forum won't allow it.

Thanks!

With my cup racer, only the steering works. The motor only works once in awhile if not at all.

My post from the other thread on here:

Here's a list of which parts I have:
- HPI RF-1 Receiver
- HPI TF-1 Radio System
- HPI X30RE Motor
- HPI EN-1 ESC
- HPI SF-5 Servo for steering

I can't get the car to move in either forward or reverse. The motor does work because once or twice it did turn over but died. The steering functions are working properly. So what do you think is the problem?

I'm not looking for the best parts out there, just trying to have some fun at local car meets.

Also, I have a Turnigy 2200 mah 2 cell lipo. Charged with an Accucell 6.

Thanks!
