Default TC4

Well Jason-its good to see that the BMI eTC3 schassis should bolt right onto the TC4. Maybe a few mods if they have changed the pick-up points on the new hingepin mounts.

And its also cool to see them adopt the NTC3 rack per Tim XLB!! Way to go Tim!!

Ray:

Hi,

I saw that the TC4 has a nitro rack steering like mine. also the B.M.I. will need some slight changes to the suspension mounting holes. everything else is the same from what I have seen an heard. (i.e. gearboxes, diffs, driveshaft). also they have moved the batteries inboard as far as I had Jason do on the chassis your running now.

Wayne:

Hi,

GREAT work on the new 1/12th scale. you even got my son interested in running 1/12th scale again with the B.M.I. car your working on..... now if only our culb track can keep the 1/12th scale class alive where we race.

Thanks

I am going to try and put a different set-up on your car tonight and run it tomorrow night. Theres really nothing more for me to try on my Xray. Now when I try things-I make it slower or different but never any faster. Luckily we will be changing the layout so that means new things to try.

Well my BMI TC3 car took home 1st place at the RC Motorsports Summer Shoot Out this weekend. I had to work for it though with a full field of good drivers.

I'm heading off next weekend to Kennesaw, GA for the final round of our Tri-State race between AL, GA, and TN. I'm leading the points going into this race with my BMI TC3. Hopefully I can bring home the championship.

I look forward to running the BMI 12th scale as well. I recently won the Norrca nats in 19 and mod 12th and I'm always looking for a good 12th car. It looks like BMI has really put together an awesome car with the help of Wayne and Jason's dedication.

Thanks guys and I can't wait to get a hold of one.

I am planing on getting a Xray T1R Raycer and was wondering if the BMI 350 chassis would fit it or is it only for the factory kit?

xxxkat:

Hi,

I would call Jason at B.M.I. he's always ready to help. just call the number on the web site.

Ray:

Hi,

let me know how things work out for you on the TC3. about the only changes I'm doing is going to different shocks and play with the W/B some more. I already have made new F-0/F-2 blocks for raising the R/C.
Looks like Assoc copied my steering rack mod on the TC4.......oh well I'll come up with something better. the uys from BMW/PSA are back and they brought some new things for me to play with. really cool real time modeling software. so......... I'll be working on a better steering setup for both my sedans.

TTYS

Thanks

thats how I'm running my x ray and it is sweet to drive ..
Every thing fits just as if it came out of the box.. just make sure you get the bearing caps for the steering post .. on the raycer there molded to the chassis .. and at you LHS there about 2.50 for a set ..

Jason,
Hello, Greetings form Manila, Philipines! Wanted to know if the 350 chassis is like the Xray 3.5mm chassis with the batteries moved a little forward and centered?

As from my previous post above, your Xray chassis is really a work of art. And I see an FK in my fleet of cars soon, and would really like a BMI chassis, but since I'm new to Xray and BMI I want to know more info about the 350 and the posted new product on your website for the Xray.

And a guy from a few post back that you could do additional cutouts for the Xray Chassis.

Thank You Very Much
Lem

hey lem,
the 350 chassis has the batteroes moved .350 forward from stock evo 2 positioning and toward the center .062
the chassis is quasi isotropic carbon fiber and is 3mm.it is going to be as stiff or even maybe more rigid than the 3.5 one being that they use what they call component grade carbon fiber.the component grade c/f lacks torsional strength compared to the quasi isotropic.i can add cutouts to the chassis if desired.let me know if i can help you with anything else and thanks for your interest.

Jason... do you offer a thinner TC3 chassis. I've got the original black graphite BMI chassis and it works great. I won quite a few outdoor races with it, but I was wondering if you offer a thinner chassis just for outdoor???

Thanks,

Michael Skeen
