What class of racing is the new setting for? Also what does it have new compared to the original settings? Is it worth sending the speed controller to get this update done?

Is there any plans for a software where users can update Genius firmware?
I know I can send it to GM if a major update is available, but a do it yourself would be great

Im currently on fw 4.7 and I do 9.5 stock racing,is it worth updating to 6.2?

Mode 6 copied to Mode 3 works very well in Stock (fw 4.x)

With fw6.x you now got the possibility to set the softwarebackground independent of the mode used

we always either use the purple one, or the blue one with a 12.5mm mag which equals the purple one but fits our car better :-)

I have not tested the grey one yet as it is not DMC legal and thus testing it would not help our german teamdrivers

Thank you Martin ,for the same factor as you i prefer the purple ,it looks better in my car (Cyclone)
Grey is a great motor,is the most used in the national in Portugal.

I think when track/air temp goes up to like 40 degrees the grey one will have some advantage over the purple one, as it will run cooler and therefore little more consistant/efficient due to the inbuilt fan

We usually don't use the blue one (with standard 12mm mag) as it might fade to the end of the run

Hi all,
I've recently bought a GM 6.5 to use with Lipo and would like some advice on gearing if possible ?

I currently use a speed passion motor and know the gearing for that, so a comparison to that would be great if possible ?

If not, I'm running on asphalt and the next track will be a very large one (normally used for 8th scale on road)

Thanks
Chris

Start with the same gearing as used with the sp and then test from there

Temp should be below 80 degrees

How should I gear a 7T delta (std rotor) with Nosram ISTC and Lipo 7.4V? Big track.

I had that issue also.I've sprayed a bit of electronic cleaner, let it dry and it should work again,at least mine did.
