Initially there was a possibility for both an EU and US version, but with most of the racing focusing on rubber tire, there will only be one version of the 2011 Spec kit, #300017. The demand was almost exclusively for the rubber tire kits, even here in the US, so XRAY simplified the offering.

Unfortunately, that change was after our last price list update, so I will need to send out an update to our dealers to remove the previous US kit listing!

the car really looks good. the best innovation for me, is that the new top deck! looks very similar (the front part that is) to the hop up top deck for the 008/009 asphalt version which produced more grip...

Is the setup on a T3 a good starting point to set up the T3 2011?

Yes it will be. You will just have to see where you like the ackermen at. I have ran it from 1mm shim to 4mm shims. It is something you can really fine tune the car with. On carpet I ran 1mm shim, on asphalt I ran 1-4mm and like the way 4mm felt.

Check out the RCAmerica thread on here all the team guys are there, if you have anymore question.

Thanks Drew

Can you compare how the ackermann was with the old system, i.e. 1mm is position 2, 4mm is position 5 etc?

Just a rough guide

I have not fulley checked it against a T3, you for sure can't go as forward as the old one. 1mm is like running the bearing back and the ackermann piece all the way back and if there was a middle whole on the steering block.. You can run more ackermann with the new steering system.

I will see if Martin can put something up on this.

Thanks Drew

Default Cheapest online shop to buy Xray?

Looking for ceramic thrust bearings, for best price? Can't seem to find them anywhere. None at speedtech. Thanks.

Drew nice to see the T3'11 come with steel front cvds. Is this correct? Also any chance we will see aluminum steering as an option?
