So what you are saying is that you would run a Mod/Stock Truck and J82 using the same truck? If that is the case I would build up an extra set of rear arms including the hub. and just swap them out depending on the class.

I have switched my standard T4 hubs to QC and do not plan on going back. I also race a GT2 so it makes sense to keep the QC rims on my trucks.

I do have a J82 and will be building it from my spare T4 parts.

The J82 Rims are not like the stock T4 rims... they are slightly narrow to keep the appearence of a buggy.

Root,

We need to get you and Andy to a race in the NE

I wouldnt care so much but the pro-line front t4 wheels suck, Can't wait for the rt5.....

Exactly i just pwned jconcepts with my post........ they werent thinking on that one.

let's come out with a buggy concept for the t4 without QC wheels........

Now lets come out with jconcepts QC t4 wheels .......

the j82 doesnt use qc and the t4wheels do.....

Makes zero sense if it was the standard the j82 should have qc wheels.

The J82 wheels offset made it difficult to make them in the quick change configuration. Besides that, 1/10th buggies do not use that setup, so it was more to the "look" to not use it.

It makes plenty of sense, but there are plenty of elements that go into every product decision.

Default Good Question

How many people have broke the Rulux Rims?

Those xxx-4 rims sux because they already have started cracking on my B44..

But yet the Rulux rims I have been holding up pretty good.

Reminds me of the durable RPM plastic parts.
It does say Ifmar world champs on the bags you get with the rims.

Jconcepts Rocks!!

I agree that they make look a little weird with the QC on the back of a buggy, but i wouldn't bring up the option of running 2 classes then. To be honest i already have a spare set of hubs and axles i ill probably just get new cva's for but i don't plan on running 2 classes on the same day.

You all do understand that the J82 and the T4 do not run the same rear wheels right?

I love the new paint. Larry at Kustom R/C Graphics is really top notch.

Masami's car's looked pretty good, but his truck, with Illuzion body was just sick dialed!

Hey Andy,

I dont know if this was asked before but should I cut any of the tire foam when running the DD's? I am planning on running them on an out door dirt track were holeshots are the tire of choice but I think DD's will work better.

Any suggestions.

Yea, we get that part but if QC is the standard then why make a j82 not the standard and your new t4 wheels QC, too backwards. I am ditching my t4 anyway i hate the front wheels. They wobble and its so inconsistant. I can't wait for the kyosho truck. I might keep my t4 and make a j82 to play with in the yard and street cause my track really ain't into it

I was though, but i am a huge buggy lover !!

Yes but one of the originl selling points was to run 2 classes with the same car( or is it truck?) all you would have to do is change the wheels and the body. Its just not that simple if you have to change the rear axles as well becasue ir run the QC in truck. I was just going to have an extra set of hubs, axles, bearings, etc built so i could just take out the outr hinge pin but that will get old after a while i think. Especially if you are running 2 classes kind of close together.

I left full foam in the rear and just radius them and cut about 1/4 in the fronts.
