at least check it out at
www.mcmaster.com

all kinds of stuff. they are an industrial supplier. in fact they have lathe bits for like 3.50 in carbide. they also can provide raw materials like delrin, c/f, and fiberglass for machining your custom car parts. well, hope that helps. oh, and schumacher may have some too. what?
For anyone who hasn't checked this site out and are wanting to replace stock screws SHOULD!!! I ordered a box of 100 of each 3x8 and 3x10 phillips in 18-8 stainless. Cost me 5 BUCKS SHIPPED and was to my door in SC in 2 day. They have a distributer on the East Coast in Atlanta also. I couldn't be any happier. They fit PERFECT the heads of the screws seem to me are a tad smaller or atleast the same size as stock screw and fit is beautiful. I would defiantely say besides threaded bodies and alloy cartridges this IS the best "hop-up" I have made. True phillips head and I thought for SURE I had stripped one and NOPE it looked new I thought for sure I messed it up. Anyhow check it out and I PROMISE you won't be disapointed. Plus have ALOT of spares too

Hey Tractionroll, had to search back to my Axis manual, but I found the number you want. U2245P Competition Roll Bar Set - SST. That is straight from the book, but drop the "P" when you order it. As per the discription the part goes back to the origanal 2000 car. Hope this helps.

Ok, how do I get the competition anti roll bar set. Schumacher does not list the 2245 as a part number. Anybody know where I can order it from?

Call Adrian or Paul at Schumacher and ASK them for the competition kit and they will hook you up!! Simple as that!

Default WANTED:

Hey guys...I spent a couple of hours last night tearing my Axis2 apart and rebuilding the diffs and TOTALLY changing the seyup on it to one that Adrian recommended. I've got a regular diff in the front now, but in all the tons of spare parts I have for the car, I don't have a standard layshaft...just the ABS one...anyone have a standard layshaft taking up space in their box they'd be willing to part with??

Drop me a line, and let me know what you're asking for it...

Thanks!

Ron

If you have the ABS system, why not just tighten the nut down and lock it up?

Default I was wondering about that

Hey Sir Speedy....I wondered if that was possible, but since I'm pretty new to the Schuie stuff, so I'll do that...
Thanks!
Another thing I was wondering about...I got a TON of spare parts with this car, and the upper suspension mounts I have (about 10 of them) are two different kinds...one is set up for hole position 1, and one is setup for hole position 2...none of them have the 1 & 2 holes on the same mount like it seems the new ones have...Are these just older mounts? Not a big deal, but if that's the case, I'll order a couple of the new ones when I make an order to Speedtech or Adrian, and get them...as it is now, if I want to change the upper arm mounting position, I have to change the mounting plates and move the shock towers over to whichever plate I use...

Thanks guys!

I LOVE this forum!!

Hey Az, You probably have a set of the original Axis Upper mounts and a set of '98 upper mounts. Many schuie guys put on the '98 upper mounts to get a little cornering speed. I never really saw any orginal Axis that used the original upper mount. Hope that helps--Al
