Are 1/10 buggy Gold Bar Code and Orange Bar Code the same thing?
I can't seems to find Orange Bar Code for sale anywhere, but kept reading about it.

They are the same tire, but differnt compounds. The gold is for use on indoor clay and is like Losi pinks.
The orange is a soft compound that I belive they just came out with. It is kind of like losi red (I think) and is used mainly on out-door tracks where the soft tire will help with grip.

Check my exclusive interview with J Concepts Owner Jason Ruona at www.rcevilempire.com .
Jason took the time to give us an extended interview regarding his background, the J Concepts racer series, the BJ4 to B44 transition, and J Concepts future direction. If you are a off-road racer this is a must listen. Thanks to Jason for his time.

The new orange compound is best suited for high-bite blue groove conditions when it's warm or hot. It provides more cornerspeed and extra stability during those conditions.
They will be on the website once they arrive and I will also update everyone here on r/c tech .

Can you please explain the differences between the Orange and the Blues, under various track conditions?

Sure, they are better, period. lol
I ran them at the JC Clash in Florida. I guess you could say they are similar to the edge, but better. Get some, you won't be disappointed.

When the track is hot, and the traction is high, a softer tires (Blue) becomes too soft, the pins fold over, and the carcass stretches too much, causing the rear end to slide out, or over rotate. In this situation, a slightly firmer tire (Orange) will not only have more traction, but last longer wear wise.
