New pinions were not released with the RRR Evo - just new spur gears. If you want to upgrade your pinions, get the Kyosho steel pinions for the RRR:

VZW066-21 2nd Steel pinion gear (0.8M/21T)

finally got a chance to bring the kit to our local racetrack. tool some pictures before i ran the kit. hopefully it will perform well used a kyosh calsonic skyline display body i had lying around my room. for the wheels, i used hotwheels display rims. for the tires, i used the proline v-rage. these are only for display purposes. will be using a proline dodge stratus 3.1 body and have yet to decide on which tires to used

Do you always run rubber tires? Are you using the 24T pulley and 387 side belt?

in our tracks, we usually run rubber tires. didn't change the pulley though. still running the 23t pulleys and the belt that came with the oneway set-up. didn't have any problems as of the moment

The 387 side belt with 24t pulley sucks a lot, it's so loose, don't use it.. the 384 is better with both pulleys
nice pictures

I'm not understanding. The 384 belt doesn't work with the 24 pulley. What do you mean by "the 384 is better with both pulleys"??? The amount of teeth of a belt does not change the drivetrain ratio. I'm puzzled.

It's so loose? What do you mean by that? Traction or the belt tension?

i'm also confused. the 384 side belt is for the 23T pulley while the 387 side belt is for the 24T pulley. like litespeed-dom said, it differs in the number of teeth. so, with the 24T pulley has more teeth thus it needs a belt with more teeth thus the 387 side belt. i'm also confused

The 387 drive belt along with the 24t pulley has a very loose tension for the belt, no matter how you adjust the belt tensioner. This is what I observed from two RRR users in our track. I use the stock set-up.

Sorry guys, I explained wrong
My RRR is a Rubber Version, and came with 387 belt and 24t pulley. I placed the tensioner all down, and it's still loose. When I hit the brake the belt jump from the pulley, and make a sound like tic tic tic.
A friend solve this problem using the 384 belt, and now it's okay
I'm using the tensioner from WCE
