Ray, stupid question...6 degrees caster, all at the c-hub or is there kick up under the suspension mounts AND the C-hub?

6-deg c-hub with anti-dive. So ts really about 4.5 to 5 degrees.

Cool-I never ran it-mind you-but ti TQ'd and won the All Star rubber class so I assume its good.

CraigX-I got your set-up on my car. Last three questions:

1. How big of a turning circle to start?

2. Any changes for 19t?

3. Why the o-ring in the back shock?

Thanks in advance,
Ray

1. How big of a turning circle to start?
At cleveland I could just barely make a u-turn on the straight of the track but I usually run less d/r than most I think

2. Any changes for 19t?
I ran the same exact setup in 19t and it worked just as well

3. Why the o-ring in the back shock?
Not exactly sure, just built the shocks like that, I don't really mess with the o-rings. I'm guessing a second o-ring would result in more rebound which may help the car transition quicker. With no o-ring doing the opposite?

Let me know how the setup works for you.

yes.

Craig, thanks for the info. I was theorizing that your car had a big turning circle judging from the set-up. It was so smooth to watch, yet this set-up looks like an aggressive mod set-up with the 50 lb springs and 6 deg caster with flat pins. I cannot wait to try it tonight.

Guys,

Just got my JRXS and I'm putting the Ciccarello carpet set-up on it. Does any one have the part number for the -1 rear pivot blocks?

I also want to double check that the ball studs on the steering rack point toward the floor and that there is really .060" of washer under each.

Thanks,

Eric

Hi Eric,

The -1 is supposed to be a +1 I messed up on the sheet. Which setup are you using the first one or the second one? Both are good you just have a few options for different tracks. Here are the links to both setups:

Paul,

A response from the man himself, now that's service! lol

I am using the first setup initially but will try #2 as well.

Thanks,

Eric

CRaig,

Thanks for posting that set-up. It has a ton of steering, epecially initial steering. I thought it was very reactive in transition. This was in 19t. When I installed the Novak Brushless with 5800 motor and geared it up the car got even better. I think this has serious mod potential. Easier to drive in mod than 19t and seemed like it had plenty of steering. And-I was running 2.14 tires. A fresh set of 2.20" and I am thinking how awesome it would be.

Ray
