We make the decals sold through TQ and other shops around the world. Based on my experience wrapping arms and the customer feedback I will tell you it is very easy to work with and durable as well. I would say that its the best out there, but I'm not quite that arrogant.

Ideas and opinions on the compatibility/comparison of these two shocks?

Check the shaft lengths to see if one set is shorter. I've used the 53901s for F104, F103 and F1R builds. 53901 appears to be discontinued.

Scott,
Email me, I have a set in stock if you want 4. For anyone needing a shock I buy the sets and split them up, it works out better for everyone as I am able to sell you the customer the same shock for half the price the only difference is it won't come in the box, it is brand new however.

If you find a Tamiya spring collar it will fit on the SP shock and allow the use of Tamiya springs. I have been running a TAMIYA blue and sometimes even a white.

It's a good idea to get one and they're not terribly expensive. I can notice the difference in my car with and without it.

For me, One of the stuff I "needed" from TQ this time was Exotek POM 93T spur gear that will hold 16 ceramic diff balls.

And the aluminum rear main axle bearing holders made by Tuning Haus.

And the TiNi 2mm circlips also made by Tuning Haus.

Doug,
If I finish ahead of you in the next race, I will thank my new parts.
But if you finish ahead of me, you can thank your new adjustable servo mount.

yeah no prob. lol. thats if i can finish a race. had a tough time last sat racing. didnt finish either main. the f1 was off balance since i had to run a house transponder so it was very right side heavy and would traction roll and just an off night all around. next one should be better. im ditchin the vta cuda body too. going with the tamiya 458 anad adding a wing to it. going gt style.

Hello Gents,

Am selling my F104x1 and other F1 goodies (e.g. exotek servo holder, Rsector upperdeck, etc.) - in the for sale section

Am still racing F1 but going to be focusing only on the VBC and v2.

Thanks
