I'll have it done by this weekend. Hopefully it won't rain.

Thumbs up au_nightmare

Thanks. I knew you would be the one to ask. What springs are you using? I find the yellow too soft.

Still a great car though.

Keep one-way clean, maybe its where we race but It seems for me good idea to clean out before every meeting. Also clean up 2 speed shoes/bell, so it grabs nice and stays in 2nd.

What setup are you running now? post that (go through the setup sheet items) and maybe some ppl can have some input.

Also what is your current problem? not enough punch out of corners? steering? etc..

Let me ask you something...What servo are you running? I vagely remember my tranny slipping, but it stopped. I think it may have been when I swapped to a stronger servo. It seems the wheels were bouncing powering out the corners, sounding like it was bouncing in and outof gear. I have to go thru the other thread and see whether that was it or not...

Well i got to thinking about the trans, and I omitted that the 2 gear housing got a little bent out of shape when my power cltch came loose from the threaded shaft. this may have cause the car to star off in second and maybe that's why the thing slipped so much, its wierd though, because when I would clean the thing wi some nitro fuel, it would run good for a couple of laps, then it would start to act up again. I just switched out the whole transmission for this race for a new one I bought off ebay(good deal- something like 65 dollars for the whole thing). On the race day, I only had time to put it all togeher and them race it, so I didn't get to tune it.

I'll sit down and review the set-up and post as per set-up sheet tomorrow, maybe there are somethings that you guys can help me out with...

From what I can remember,
Camber front:2deg, rear:3deg
...0 toe up front, 2deg toe in rear...
spings front:white, rear:kyosho blck progressive rear w 2 mm shim(softer)...
shock wght front 60,rear 50....
diff oil front Ofna 50,000wght, rear 30,000wght.
jaco foams 40shore 0 offset.
Stock RTR pinion/spurs...
STS MT12rs engine, 30% nitro
servos: JR metal gear 590 steering, standard throttle.
ride hieght is up there about 7-8mm front and back.
ohh, and floating rear body mount rear

RTR arms....I would like to get the pro upgraded arms soon.

Let me know if you need more details...

Thanks,
havy

ok... whats left

front mounting blocks: 1.5 front of diff case and 0 rear, same in the back

Shock mounting positions, 2 hole up top both front and rear: on the front arms: outer hole, and in read 2nd middle hole.

ohh, and I exchanged the pistons to the 3 hole pistons from assiciated..

My main prob right now is I get alot of push under acceleration in the curves. I see all the guys running faster in the corners than I can. If I throttle too much(not fully puching it, but lets say I quarter trottle) I still can't hold my line well in the corners. I think I loose alot of time due to this.

Thanks agian, if you see anything wrong w/ this setup let me know.
