I hate the cold! I am dying to get out and run my car, but it's just too cold. Well, in the interim I decided to get the chasis and CF bits for the stock LD3, and figure out what engine to replace the CVR with. Of course, that means I have to get the RD Logics pipe, since I've been running side exhaust, but that's a small thing. Any suggestions?

Hey how did you like your CVR in the LD3 ? I have a nearly new non PS CVR left over from the sale of my XXX-NT....was considering using it up since I can't get a decent buck back out of it.

I really have no complaints with my .15 CVR. It was a bit overgeared in stock form (I was still picking up speed at the end of 245+ straight, which hurt my acceleration), but swapping the gears produced quite a bit of kick. And it was reliable as all day, except for when the LSN was too rich. If it weren't for the comp at the track, I'd keep it in there. As it is, I may still keep it and run a lower class and put the new engine in the next chasis

Yea I was thinking of a D5....so many engine choices

I should just get another XXX-NT to mate with my 12 CVR...kicking some local dirt track booty again this summer would be fun too

Default LD3 Pro build question

You guys that have built the LD3 PRO I have a question for ya all. When building the REAR lower A arms do you use the set screw? My instructions show to use the set screw for the standard ld3 but my instructions for the pro do not show the use of the set screws that screw into the lower arms This is my first build so I want to be sure I get it right. I am guessing that the instruction insert for the pro just missed the set screw My pro instructions show to use the set screw for the front arms but do not show to use the set screw for the rear arms Thanks in advance guys

Anybody got a scanner and can post the pic where you install the anti-roll bar? I never got around to putting mine on my RTR, and the one that was posted was very blurry (sorry nightmare... )

Sorry no scanner, did you check ofna.com to see if they have the manual for the ld3 pro available via download? Also if you look at the pics of the champion edition earlier in this thread I believe there is at least one pic that shows the anti roll bar installed.

Now THAT'S what I'm talking about! That manual wasn't there too long ago. Guess i should have checked again. Thanx a mil..

And Nightmare, we just call them like we see them Hopefully Ofna/Hong Norr will improve their manuals. BUt as long as the cars are ok, I could care less...
