Default Display Tips

Hi All,
I have a slew of on and off-road vintage cars that I'd like to get out of the closet and on display. Many are still NIB in the box, but I want to display those as well. Anyone have any tips on shelving systems? I am not much of a builder, and need something I can buy and easily assemble (read: hire someone to easily assemble). I want to put the boxes up on shelves and have them displayed with the cover art facing outward (as opposed to just the spine). Please include pictures!

Thanks.

Default Hi

Thought I'd throw a few pics in here, some of these are in the 2wd thread so someone might have missed seeing these....this is a '75 MRP with a Veco .19 and Jerobee setup. Nearly 40 years old and I bet it was pretty good back in the day.

I made this with 2 shelves and a lamp kit. Got a photo blown up and printed, then laminated onto the back shelf.

Default Vintage cars

Hi!

I am a french collector of old nitro rc cars. Just tale a look on my website: "le garage d'A4roues"

I have especially european cars but i begin to collect more "exotic" cars. I would like to find a Delta Eagle and i try to restore a Delta which could be a 750 or 760.

Default Vintage session at Czech Republic

Hello guys,

I posted some photos from our vintage session. For next season we plan a vintage race series.

Most of these models are home-scratchbuilt based on the chassis Serpent MK or SG Futura.

Enjoy it! :-)

NICE!What happens when you end up destroying some of those irreplaceable bodies?

Old bodies is made from epoxy (fiberglass) and laminated to negative form. So its well-repeairable.Of course, easiest way is use a lexan historic bodies from deltaplastik.it

Main disadvantage of these cars, is low grip of old tyres (mainly rear tyres), so we had to made a new wheel adapters. Now we can begin to compete :-)

I was cleaning out the RC Closet and found these with my Serpent 6000 / 6010 that I ran back in the day in 2wd.

I believe they are Serpents, but only because of the tanks. Anyone know what they are? I have the two cars, 2 spare chassis, 4 top decks and a bag-o-parts.

Thanks in advance for any info.
