Default My Vintage on-road Restoration

I bought this car off ebay a few years ago when Tamiya re-released the body, I obtained the decals set off ebay as well and did not pay more than $125 for everything. It turned out to be a nice project. Not nitro but on-road

Thanks very much puff dog! I do love the deltas... The holy grail for me would be a cook racing modified example.... Still saving for that...

Love your cars as well... Have a couple of bmts and two Smp slides too that I love. Will dig them up and post pics...

Probably my most favorite in my collection... My SMP Slide. Not vintage or classic yet possibly... But getting there for sure...

Remembers me back to the golden era of the U.S. CanAm road racing series. Back when the McLaren's and Chaparral's were doing battle in the '60s and 70s. Thanks for the memories, RK.

Here's most of my collection at the moment.
There's afew missing as I still haven't unpacked all the boxes from my move 2 yrs ago, I'm sure there are another 20 or so in the boxes marked "HOBBY". That could mean almost anything in my house.
The ones that I have unpacked are now covered in dust, the result of buying a house that is a bit of "fixer upper".

There are some classics in this lot

Tamiya TRF F102 My newest aquisition so it's at the top.
Tamiya EVO III Surikarn
Tamiya TA-05
Tamiya Tamtech Porsche 934 1/12th
Tamiya M06 Volkswagen Beetle
Tamiya M02 Mini Cooper
Tamiya DB-03 Dark Impact (white edition)
Kyosho Inferno MP 7.5 Kanai
Kyosho USA-1 Monster truck
Kyosho Mini-Z Mclaren F1
Kyosh Mini-Z 1.5 Mad Max Interceptor
Kyosho Mini-Z 2.0 Mclaren F1 GTR Le mans winner
Kyosho Mini-Z Enzo
Kyosho Mini-Z Mclaren Mercedes SL
A few NANO racers (mini-z clones)
Losi Micro-T
Losi Mini-T
Losi Mini-T Carbon and Bling, VW Body
Mugen MTX-3 Pro-Spec
Mugen MTX-3 std
Traxxas T-Maxx
Traxxas E-Maxx (modded)
Colt Nitro V8 supercar Lowndes Betta
Associated RC10 (original 1st release) Mint.
Associated RC10 Carbon with factory upgrade VW Body (sand scorcher)
Associated RC10 B3 Original
Associated RC10 B3 with Truck arms and towers VW Body
Associated RC10 T3
Associated RC10 B4
Associated RC10 B5M
Associated RC10L3
Associated RC12L (modded)
Schumacher Original C-Car 1/12 pan (1978 vintage)
Schumacher Mi3
Schumacher Cat 2000
Speed Passion SP-1 F1 car (17.5T 2s)
Speed Passion SP-1 F1 car (10.5T 1s)
Speed Passion LM-1 Le Mans car (17.5T 2s)
HPI Baja 5B 5th scale 26cc Racer (very fast)
HPI Baja 5B 5th scale 30.5cc lots of bling
HPI Baja 5T 5th scale 29cc Cage and VW Body
FG Big Monster 5th scale 4wd 26cc
FG Big Monster 5th scale 4wd 30.5cc with bling and VW Body
A few cheap Touring cars for the nephews to run when they visit.
A couple of Turnigy buggies for the same.

That's the cars I think.
They are all runners with servos, esc's and motors.
The gas cars get run up every 6 months or so.
The ones in RED I consider to be Classics
