Ya looks incorrect to me too. If those packs are the same then the jumper should be on the 2 inside poles + to - and the esc to the outside esc + to bat + and esc - to bat -

Wires the way it looks in the pic I doubt it will even work. The esc is plugged into the same + pole on both batteries (or - pole on both batteries)

+1 don't let out the magic smoke. Once it's out it won't work anymore, so it must be magic.
Jumper should be in the middle your correct

On the diffs. Did you follow the insert/ addendum that illustrates how to shim the diffs? Because it sounds like you shimmed them both the same and this insert has the front and rear different. If you don't have it here is a link.

http://www.serpent.com/file.php?FileID=5294

Follow this and 1 will be tight and the other will not but they will break in nicely.

I gave up on the alum servo horn as it would bind BCE it was installed in the car so I used the stock plastic setup. 1 thing I did notice after building the servo saver as per the manual is that it's set pretty loose when you work it turning the wheels to the right. This dosent seem to effect my car at all on the track and so far it has survived a big track with some pretty big air.
I was going to pick one up for this build but my hex bits aren't in yet. I have a Milwaukee m12 drill but I like the quick change feature and the smaller size. Will pick one up soon.

Thanks for the tips on the diffs. I'm going to try and run it a bit to wear them in. Then ill tear down and redo the shims based on engagement pattern.

I'm almost done. Electronics are all in and I just need to build the shocks. Trying to decide if I should run 10x1.1 tappered pistons and also what oils to start with.

was just the angle of the photo confused everyone.

for those who have built it the 3 philips screws holding the mid driveshafts in did you find the one next to the sun gear fouled the screw?

I only put two in each diff as the third fouled the gear as it was clear by the noise and collection of grease about this screw.

Won't that put the transponder too close to the chassis and cause missed laps that way?

it seems like the rec/esc box is amplifying the noise of the metal spur/pinion... like it's a speaker...

also, without seeing the pining/spur mesh, how are u guys meaning mesh? It seems i can only do by feel...
