The timing, and dimensions are the same. The difference is that the PT has the hard coated piston. You can use the PT set in the Flash special, and vice versa.

Hi All,
Q1)
I am running novarossi 353 08 .12 with 25% fuel.
After break-in, how many shim should I use?
Q2)
I am not a fast driver.........top end engine isnt a must for me and I dont need to run the engine too lean.
I am planning to get a nova N12T1 or LL3 for trainning purpose and cheaper maintance cost in long run.
Are they similar? which one is better in term of useful life.
Thank you!

A2) no need to buy another engine. Use that engine for 5 to 6 races, and sell it away. Buy a new engine again after that. Tips: 1). Never overheat your engine, the piston head surface will damage. Keep it running between 110 - 120 Celcius. 2). Never overheat your engine, you might end up with glow plug's element melted and ruined the piston sleeve. 3). Always clean the piston sleeve and give plenty after run oil after use.
