[QUOTE=bertrandsv87;9790485]You got two laps left to catch up, but how was your top speed down the straight compared to the TQ guy ? What was your final position ?[/QUO

I'm going to change to a larger spur/ pinion combination, but keep the same FDR. What I think is happening is my motor is spooling up too fast my ESC setting in comparison are the same.

Here our main "B", normally we only have one main with 9 cars. (White car)

It's pretty obvious in that clip that the steering servo was too slow , and that the suspension was too soft , but you also had no punch out of the turns, and no top end. You probably either didn't have spool up front or you didn't havr any acceleration dialed on the radio. Typically shaft cars are quicker out of turns....

Here is another setup tip for stock: tamiya yellow springs(front), and AE blue springs(rear) with shortest wheelbase setting ! Works flawlessly with 60+weight oil !!!

I have a set of Tamiya...silvers I think (if this is what they are called)
Had not try them yet but was thinking to put them in the TC3 as they would be an improvment ont AE old shocks

A great deal of steering with that setup. I have to dial down my steering EPA to 65% now......

There was an improvement in acceleration, but still lacking speed. I changed my gearing now my FDR is 4.9 matching what DW used when he was racing his TC4 I can't match the belt cars too slow.

Was 4.9 for blinky or boosted ? How much does your car weigh? Anything over 1450g won't cut it....
