Thanks for the help guys, running an orion vortex and reverse is at 100% already.

Capacitor is standard 1 that came with the just stock speedy.

I wont have time to try a bigger capacitor before tommorow night but will for next run and hopefully the update then as angelo says will give better braking

Just driving to fast i think

Thats what i did. Made no difference. Can you take the fdr too low and create heat? With the 17 pinion i was running 8.4.

I tried the bigger capacitor on my Extreme Stock to improve the braking but it made no difference

It seems some people have good brakes and some don't, I'm still looking for a solution...

Scoop.

80c is fine
re settings try taking some of the boost and or turbo off.
I am now running a GM 21.5 and found that if I run the maximum 64 the motor gets hot (have had a 120c)

taking some of the boost and turbo off made the car quicker and a lower temp, so a double gain
also start rpm makes a big difference try getting the boost coming in at a higher rpm

this is with 211 stock

We dont have problems with 211 only 518 but, we prefer the way 518 runs on carpet. I think its gonna have to be big fan or 211

Hi Guys

Just some info for all of you to know so there is no confusion the orion esc is a 2.1v hobbywing not a V3.

Hobbywing software will not work on the orion or the orion on the hobbywing not even the 2 in 1 programmer will work .

thanks guys

Angelo

Default V3 ESC

Are there any news about the smartphone connectivity on the new V3 speedcontrollers?

Will we be able to change settings in the ESC from the drivers stand?
Log data in realtime on the phone?

Let the info flow...

Are the internals the same? Just different board layout?
