You'll want the 1000g (2lb) capacity.

I bought 4 of these:

Thanks, those look like the same ones. I am going to try the saddle pack setup and want to mark down where I am at and compare.

I'll let the pictures do the talking:

Edit: I forgot to mention, there is "0" lead or balance weights anywhere.... and the battery is in the mid position.
Looks good Jimmy! Like you said most guys have stick packs as do I, I'd rather not buy saddle packs if I don't have to. It's good to know that I can still center out the weight with stick packs.

Really is no easiest way, just have to take the front end pretty much apart to get to the servo area.... Just make sure you use the servo alignment piece and get it done right the first time....

Heres a video that will help on how to install it properly:

just an fyi, if u loose ur stock, inner bearing seel...replace bearing.

last week I noticed the inner rubber seel wraped around the axle. I just flipped the bearing over and raced this week (was told to do so by a fellow racer)
first qualifier, 2 minutes in the bearing exploded loosing the cva pin and ball joint. if it wasn't for 3 peaple having a bunch of loose, spare parts, my night would have been cut very short.
cobbled axle......still took the a-main win

full set of bearings have been orderd and stock cva rebuild kit was in stock at the lhs.

Yep, I removed the screws from the bottom of the truck, a few from the top and couldn't get the front to break away... How do I pop the the front off? Yes, viewed the youtube vids already.

I have heard of this happening with the outer pad, and that they were the standard pads. another customer recommended trying a standard pad inside the basket, and a HT pad on the outside.

Thanks Mac........I have found some of the white slipper pads (very old) to try,http://www.rcplanet.com/Associated_S..._p/asc9603.htm I will let you know when I get them. I will say that before the pad started to spin the truck would fly the triples with just a 3 foot start.I will say I like a little slip in the drive system.

Thanks.
I got them off of ebay for about $9 each. All they have on them is "Digital Scale"

I have some precise gram and .1oz weights and these scales are all right on the money.

i did this step, As did every1 who built this SC10 4x4.

-My alignment is off, even though I followed all Chris's steps & AE steps.
I guess I have to take the servo out & realign it???
I have to have my steering Trim at like 36Left, to even it out.
This throws every setting off, while trying to tune the radio settings.
Suggestions?

Try to move the position of the servo by (lossen the top 2 screws) sliding it left or right, see if that's enough to compensate for the mis-alignment.

If not, there's a total of 9 screws, should take about 10-15mins to adjust. I've to take apart the front end 5 times in the last month I've own the truck, wait till you have to change the diff oil.
