looking to clear up some confusion. on the shock pistons one side is flat and the other is not. which side faces the top(shock cap) the video nor the book describes it.

or run blitz offset wheels they add +2mm per side and lowered my lap times .5-.7
or use Losi XXX sct rears all around, same as Jconcepts Hazards (+3mm offset), just make sure to use serrated wheel nuts

Flat goes up cone down. The piston design is for quicker rebound that way.

I thought someone already tried running blitz/slash rears awhile ago and they were a little too wide?

blitz/slash too wide. Losi XXX-sct rears, +3mm per side, 6mm total just like the Jconcepts Hazards. The Losi's are thicker at the axle, hence the need for serrated nuts.

The meassurment I was told from Dave at DE Racing was .062 per wheel or about .125 (3mm) total.

The beveled side or non flat side goes down. Thats the only way the shary washer can go on. They are cut to rit on the shaft and stay still and the rounded side has the same size cut out. Thats how I built mine and no problems.

The AE trucks are some of the narrowest of the trucks with the exception of the Durango. The new Jconcepts wheel makes the AE trucks wider and at ROAR legal limit. Wider might and should improve stability. Its just something new to try that all the team guys are running right now it is just hard to find the new Jconcepts wheels to try it though.

I know the Kyosho truck with the AKA wheels needs to almost be hammered into the tech box.
