Any help would be appreciated.

+1 on green slime thing, works for me. Did that since the first time I built the diffs. Green slime is a life saver.

Coat the little gasket in it and lightly rub it in so that there are no blobs of it before installing.

What kind of track do you run, is it indoor or outdoors, and whay are the motor/esc temps after a run?

I run on three different track, all outside, from a small 1/10 scale to a large 1/8 scale track. Temps are between 140-170 w/heastink and fan depending on the track and runtime. Esc temps are a non-issue. Im in houston where its hot and humid as hell.

Man I would really like to try the LRP 550 cans, I tried out both tekin sc4x's 4.5 and 5.5 and even with different gearing and boost they just couldn't compare to the power output of my castle 1410.........

So I'm debating if I should try out the LRP 550 (since I can get one for a really good deal) or wait for the tekin 4 pole motors to come out (I did pre-order one but still debating)

Also I'm going to my local indoor track, finally got my swaybars installed, just waiting on my spring sets to come in.......... Hopefully I can finally get this thing dialed in time for the next race.......

I have a little experience with the lrp 550 4.5..

It have mass rip compared to any other available , but....

Comes in at about 195 degrees & also requires the coast brake on the ESC to be disengage...(12T pinion)

Seen a few switch to the 540 6.5 with very good results....

I got my LRP x12L 4.5 in this weekend. I ran it with a 13t and a 14t pinion on a medium to large outdoor track. After the 7 min main with the 14t pinion the motor was 170 and the esc (RX8 no fan) was 140. So far the LRP motor has been my favorite motor. It pulls the 1410 but is super smooth.

heres the track. (annoying video (not me) but good view of track)

anyone gone all nuts and done all the FT upgrades yet? Going to order another truck, looking to build it with all the aluminum screws and upgrade parts. Do the factory team shocks bind up like the kit shocks do?

The thick front diff fluid mellows out the truck quite a bit on high speed sweeping turns as well as allows you to be able to run a "bar" type tire in the front, such as Suburbs, Barcodes, etc. With the 10K front diff oil, the Suburbs would be extremely fast through the infield but way too aggressive in sweepers. So much that if you turned the wheel just a bit too far that the truck would want to spin out or traction roll. After I changed the fluid I could drive the truck harder into the sweepers without fear of it rolling or spinning, and then to make up the steering in the infield I switched to the more aggressive Suburb tire instead of Holeshots.

Over all I think it was a great change and I am super happy with how my truck handled in qualifying as well as even the main event!
I cannot find anywhere that sells the associated 30k or 60k diff fluid...even on associateds site!
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
