Mine started to do that this weekend too. Belt was half off on the front.

I pin pointed the issue to the bearing on the front belt tensioner cam adjuster (Bearing 4x8x3mm #31402). It looks like the bearing is worn and therefore the pulley can lean side to side and let the belt fall off from using the brakes.

I'm going to replace the bearing and see if that fixes it... for now all I did is make sure it's tight and put a bit of black greace on the bearing... it worked for another two packs till the end... it started to pull off again because the truck didn't want to move... I put it in reverse and it poped the belt back in to place I believe, I continued to drive it.
Deff. going to replace that bearing this week.

you may want to check the actual tensioner hardware as well. On mine, the post was weak enough that when i wrenched on it friday, the post broke right off. i am guessing, my gorilla tightening did it in. maybe the continuous taking apart etc after night of racing, caused the post to bend/crack.

I am in the same boat except I did not put as much into my losi. Just keep it for an outdoor rig.

My fully modified losi felt like a pile after running this. I'm in love! Not sure what to do with the losi now lol, put about $300 worth of mods on it, wondering why now.

started with the softest sway bars.... front keeps coming loose at ends even with locktite.

Anyone had this issue?

I don't like what its done to truck in jump section... if you aren't perfectly lined up it really tosses you.

Definitely helped with the high speed sweepers though.

ATTN: For those of you having issues with your slipper and rear end slipping

All you need are a couple of 1/4" washers between the slipper nut and spring, and one AE high torque slipper pad.

This is all i did and i fixed my slipping and poor acceleration issues. Heres a video of it tightened down.

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.
I can finaly tune my rear end for the track!!

4wd SC10 wheelies are possible!!

Default 4s battery and motor setup?

I've noticed people modifying the sc10 4x4 battery mounts to allow for a saddle pack config which got me to thinking... what about changing it up to allow a a couple of 2s packs to fit in there? Probably need to create a platform to put the electronics on so you could could put the batteries side by side on the bottom of the chassis but it could work.

Be nice to get the added run time 2 packs would offer if you hooked them up in parallel, but imagine if you hooked them up in series. You could run an rx 8, but would a Tekin T8 fit in there? Hmmm...

Yes you would need to dial the power back to a manageable level and no it wouldn't be ROAR legal... but man it would fly.

Anybody tried it?

2s parallel would double the runtime, would probably double the heat in crucial components

So I raced my truck this weekend and came to one conclusion...

...I need to practice a LOT.

This whole "jumping into the air" thing is really throwing me for a loop. So use to on road that I got thinking too much about jumping and completly forgot how to drive a 4wd car into a corner. Once I started getting that straightened out I did much better except for a jump on the back straight that I kept lining up wrong and landing in the weeds...every lap...

So, with that disclaimer posted, I tried the truck with the box stock setup and I didn't like it so I threw on the 2.0 swaybars and upped the front diff fluid to 30K from 5K...which, might I add, trying to do between heats is NOT easy when all you have is hand tools. Someone let me borrow their power driver after they saw the time I was having taking it apart and I got it done about 5 seconds before my race was to start. Mental note, need one of those things.

We went down to a "C" main and I was 12th there...finished 8th but only 9 cars running so yea, I need to practice. Even so, I was only (ha ha...ONLY) a lap behind first and on the same lap as 2-7. So I figure I'm going to leave the truck alone for now...maybe swap the rear sway out for a 1.5...and work on my driving skills.

I did notice that the truck likes throttle. It works much better as long as you're giving it some gas through the turns...it works much better that way. So if I can get over this "Jump-phobea" of mine the way I drive touring cars should help out some. Oh, and I need a new body...black does not do well at night on a poorly lit backstraight...yea...
