Woah, I guess i gotta go back to the drawing board....

I'm currently using Kyosho Orange Fr and Dark Yellow Rears, I'll try that Dark Yellow/Green Combo, everything else on the Cav set up is practically the same...

ASC3977 - 3/16" x 3/8" x 1/8"

I have guesses for the two, but I just wanted to make sure before I ordered replacements.
AVID will have the bearings you need at $1 a piece!

I did try the K black springs and was only able get 22-23mm before the preload collar ran out of threads. Black springs might be too soft anyways.

Thanks,

Those were the sizes that I thought they would be, but I wasnt 100% on the 4mm vs 5mm. Thanks again for clearing it up for me, and suggesting the website.

Don't know what you're talking about... I run all the way down to the light yellow rears and have no issues with them... i even have 10 or 12 threads to spare. I run 23mm.

I took a closer look at the kyosho springs. You can get the right rideheight with them. My main point is that those are ae green rear springs. You can run kyosho rear springs if you want, but I know those are greens.

Do silvers give more sidebite then green? An a.e sponsor at the track says so...
I like the dk yellow around the rear could be a little stiffer tho. It really leans.

Not following this whole conversation but if you're arguing about whether Cav was running AE green springs in the rear at Worlds, he was. AE just posted his setup.

And saying they strip the paint on the spring so people don't know it's Kyosho is retarded. They admitted to running Kyosho springs in the front. They strip paint because it looks cool. Just like Tebo had custom anodized aluminum parts on his RB5. It's just bling and they all do it.

You guys would be surprised by how many pro drivers run parts from other manufacturers. They do it all the time.

The rear springs on Cavalieri's B4.1 WERE green springs. I received the tip on how he took off the ae paint just this week. You take a dremel with a wire brush bit, and run it inside the spring. It works GREAT.

Yeah, those are definitely AE greens. If they were K springs the collar would be a lot farther down the shock body. From the picture JMuck posted, that's about dead on for the collar having a 24mm rear ride height using stock AE green springs. There not trying to hide anything. Even JR Mitch's setup on the AE website says he used K springs front and rear.
