I know this has been asked times and times over again, but I can not seem to get my B4.1 right.

I started out with kit setup, and it was not bad, but had some push. So I have been trying to dial it out but everything I do seems to either make it worse, or make it the same. The car does not feel like it will ever just settle, it seems so stiff and kind of trashy feeling almost. It started out okay, but know just does not seem right at all, the push and unsettling feel needs to go soon! Please help a dumbfounded racer Mind you, I am running Losi CR shocks with 30wt. in the front, and 27.5 weight in the rear. Thanks in advance!

try resetting the diff, sometimes track conditions call for it tight or loose. I would stick with the ft shocks they are perfect and are so easy to rebuild. Go back to the kit setup but move the turnbuckles out one hole on the hubs/carriers. That should add steering and rear traction. When the traction is high on the track and you start pushing and feel it doesnt react move in.

Without knowing your entire setup, tires, and track conditions, it's impossible to tell you what's wrong with it.

Ran my B4.1L (+8) tonight for the first time in club racing, and wow... the car is SO much faster... easier to drive, easier to drive fast, easier to push, more stable, more consistent, and jumps/lands like its its on a pillow top mattress. Iv owned and raced just about every buggy on the market through the last 2 years, and this config/setup is by far the best I have ever driven.

Here is a copy and pasted chunk of lap times tonight from my main run... Iv always been decent behind the wheel, but iv never been this consistent... ever. Can't wait to start dialing it in even more.

I couldn't agree more about being able to push the B4.1L being consistant.

That's what really matters, having a car that is predictable. Now you can focus on putting the quick laps together and it shows in your lap times.

You only had about 1.5 sec spread between all the laps... Nice!!!

As of late I've been driving pretty consistantly, so can't wait to try out the extended chassis when I get mine done.

I'm using the shock seal kits from TSR and they have the blue alloy bleeder screws. I also use the same screws to hold in my hinge-pins .

Click Here for TSR Products. Top notch product and great customer service .

Isn't that the company that buys $3 Durango DEX410 dust boots and then sells them as B4 parts for $10 on eBay?

What insert do you guys usually run in your B4.1 front tires for indoor high bite clay tracks (small track, lots of 180s). I usually stuff a full Losi rear foam (from the BK Bars) but the rear tires I'm getting don't come with foams (AKA Rebars). I'm gonna use the AKA Red foams for the rear, and I'm not sure if I should just use the standard foam included with the front Rebar tires, or cut a rear AKA Red insert in half and use those.

Usually take a full rear and cut it to fit in the front. I would not recommend cutting a red aka insert as they are contoured to fit a rear tire, if you cut it you will ruin that contour. You can order losi foams by themselves for about $2.

Thanks I'll do that, I found them the other night but it didn't look right in the picture. They look solid with no cutout in the middle:

Thats just the picture, if they come like that then you will just push out the inner portion. They are cut. You could also use a 4wd front foam to fit in there, if you do this i wouldnt cut it any.
