If anyone has a set-up sheet throw it up please. I'd love to see what all you racers are using compared to the pros. also note track type please!

I run the protrack wheels I have no issues with them . They are a little thicker then stock so I use the traxxas serrated wheel nuts to keep make sure I dont loose one and there blue so they look cool ..lol.

I'm running 48P without an issue on the 3800 castle motor. Flip the pinions backwards, and also clearance the web in the middle belt cover to get a hex driver on the grub screw. Some of the crappier pinions don't like to be flipped, they don't center as well with less motor shaft in them.

Check to see if your belt tunnel is warped,,, others have reported that theirs was, and when they straightened it, the belt stayed on.

I run the protrac wheels on both my SC10 2wd ( Proline front inboard hub conversion and rear 12mm wheel adapters ) and on my SC10 4x4 with no issues at all. I was able to use all my old wheels when I jumped ship from my protrac equipped Slash. Now I don't have to worry about different wheels fitting different things. But as 1fastslash said use serrated wheel nuts on the 4x4 and you won't loose your wheels.

Good point. I forgot about that option I have never had it available with my previous 4wds.

i used both with great results. Far better rings than kit ones. much more smooth and dont leak. IMO the shock was designed with 2 so i used 2

I have always used one and never had shock leaks. I replace them due to swelling and shaft drag but never for leaking.

Ran the car for the 1st time at wcrc over the w/e, it was fast even with stock setup and tires on!! 14t spur means I was passing/catching up to pretty much anything out there. Even played with the clicker a bit which I also liked...so overall very impressed!

Had issues with my tekin esc/motor combo (which I posted at the rx8 thread) in short, the esc/motor (SC4x 4.5t) would studder under hard acceleration. Anyone here had/have the same issue?

i don't know what you have to remove to install the clutch basket, but on my recent tear down and rebuild i had to remove the front belt tension pulley. make sure you installed the belt tension pulley correctly or your belt will want to pop off because the pulley isn't straight. i installed mine wrong and my friend caught it....it was causing some minor binding which made the belt drive seem a little more tight than usual.

check the sensor wire obviously...

im having problems with torque. im on an rx8 with a sc4x 5.5. im either 15/62 or 14/62...i forgot what i tried last. i think it's the 15 though. it seems as though i can't really line up for a jump and pull trigger. it doesn't want to clear shizzzzz. i know other drivers who can just line up, pull trigger, and jump whatever they want, no problem. my truck is definitely not one of those...

You gotta be having slipper issues..I can line up before pretty much any size jump, nail it and clear it..CC3800/RX8/slipper hub.. slipper hub is the key!!
