What kind of oil did you use to fill them? And just to clarify, the shocks won't compress fully after they sit for a while? You may want to pull them back apart and check to make sure the shaft/pistons move freely all the way up and down through the shock body, and if that checks out, maybe try building them again to see if there's any change. sometimes the black spacer between the o-rings is a little too tall and puts too much compression on them when you tighten the cap. sand it down some to decrease the height and smooth out the movement of the shock shaft.

i have a rtr b4.1 i have a novak 8.5 in it and i cant seem to get a pinion thats a good fit. what should i start with? i have a 23 in it right now and its the best so far but still cant do what everyone else is doing.

I ran the lengthened chassis yesterday. Everything you've read is true. It's more stable, jumps better and can be pushed harder. I'm making two more for people. I can make them for 60 shipped. I'll send pics if interested.
