Yeah everything hooked up correctly, i didnt have another speedo to try but ive had the same speedo in my 2wd with no problems. It only occurs under a real heavy load. IMO i think the truck or drivetrain is too much for it.
I took the speedo and motor out and went to a different set-up with a non-sensored 4 pole motor and i am very happy with it.
I love LRP, i've only used there speedos mostly and recently put an 8.5 in my buggy an love it.

I saw 2 LRP X12L motors ( both 5.5 ) and both in combination with MMP. Both motors had cogging, like it was sensorless.

needless to say that everyhing was checked and double checked. and was working properly

You're going to talk about yourself in the second person. You think it's ok for people not to refer to themselves in the 1st person.

you're using 20k diff oil in the front and is thinking of trying 60k. Has anyone here tried anything higher?

now that i think of it a guy at my track had the same problem when i got my motor, my friend un-plugged his sensor wire and it wasn't as bad. I knew he had a different speedo so i didn't worry about it.

Default Belt kept falling off... my fix

My belt kept falling off. I then toniced that my belt cover was leaning towards the passenger side and therefore helping the belt fall off. I bet this is due to all the Lawn Darting I've done over the past two months.

I put a zip tie on it, pulling it to the drivers side. After this fix while it was on the bench, noticed the belt then stayed straight on the pulleys. Put the cover back on and it held up for a whole weekend of racing where I had no more issue.

I guess to fix this right, I might need new belt covers or is something else bent up I don't see?

I bet it's the MMP... There was a batch of them that had sensor issues. Something with the way the sensor port was soldered on the ESC's board. The group I race with went through 10 or so of them. We would take them out or the box, wire them up, they would cog and right back to Castle they went... Thats why we all run RX8s now.

No I haven't tried anything of the sorts yet since I needed a quick fix to start qualifying. But I was thinking that I should do that the next time I'm working on the Diff's this weekend (loosen all the chassis fasteners and "bow" the chassis back out before buying new parts). FRONTI3R will try that! LOL

Eli,

We have seen the port problem on MMP's quite some time ago. The pins would break off of the board. How old are the MMP's you are running?
