SC10 4x4 Thread

Although I have nothing to do with the pistons other than doing testing, i will not be going back to the stockers. Ive been running them in my RC8BE and my sc10 4x4, they really have helped dial in my truck. Im sure il get word when they are officialy out.

Ok, so I tried 50k front and 30k in the rear and loved it. It had better acceleration and more forward bite in the rear. It still felt loose in the corners, but is more controllable and pulled harder. It simply felt more stable.
Oh, had my first breakage, I broke a shock rod end, which allowed the front cvd to get twisted up.

wouldnt the thicker rear oil give you less rear traction in the corners?

Look at how the rango's diffs are running 20k front 50k center and 10k rear. I dont think they lack traction.? And like the rango the sc10 has tons of steering and is light and agile. I just think this truck requires a different approach.

well, I was running 50k front and 7k rear and felt like the rear was just being pulled through a turn, like it was a pendulum, with 30k it seems to push the rear end more through the turn, rather than being pulled.

oh ok, i see what your saying. only reason i asked is i went up to 7k (from 3) and the rear feels slightly more loose. maybe i need to keep going up? or at least try it...

Doubt it... the "Punisher" line of turnbuckles are 3mm (check http://www.lunsfordracing.com/mm5/me...gory_Code=TURN ) and the SC104x4 turnbuckles are 4mm.

1/8th Scale Gas Wrench

I have this as well as the smaller punisher 1/10 wrenches, and the opening is bigger.

There's nothing wrong with the stock shocks, they just need better rings.
