OFNA sells a 6 pack of rims for like 17 bucks. They come in black, yellow, and white. Pretty good deal and they hold up great.

Default springs

In regards to the worlds kit, are you now in need of the shorter kyosho springs to obtain the correct ride height? Also don't forget the wing mod! Everyone says that seem to be working well also.

Default Hop up help

I have an rc8 I got from a friend it has the junk plastic shocks and the towers only have 3 holes so not much room for changing setup does anyone have any idea what model rc8 this is and what the part numbers are for the good aluminum shocks and the good towers is? Im not wanting to spend a ton of money any help would be greatly apreciated.

sounds too low i'm wondering if there is something wrong with it, do you guys have any suggestions where I should look? I'm unfamiliar with buggy's. Thanks

As a previous owner of the nitro rc8 converted to electric, I would def. go with the newer rc8be in a heart beat..... Its mainly personal preference as you can see by my sig., however I've run mugen in the past (my friends) and I just didn't like em but thats just my opinion........

What didn't you like? You ran the Eco?

I'm an AE fan myself.

Hi Guys we have been getting some questions regarding the worlds X
Chassis for your R8E Buggy. We offer a ELine version just for your
Brushless Racer, This is the same Chassis Used By Steven Hartson to win
The Nitro Challenge this year. Some of the guys were asking about using
our world X Nitro for conversion, It is not necessary with our E Chassis.
Yes Both are 3mm, If you need any other info drop us a line at the BCESPEED
Site.

Yeah it was the eco, iono just for the price etc, no parts support in my area, and the way it handled, I just didn't feel it was worth the price tag.... If I were to buy a different brand it would be losi 2.0 or the ve8 (which I just bought a used one for a great deal)

Default Wing Mod

I found the wing mod page. It is in the Nitro Offroad, "Team Associated 1/8 scale Buggy Info and Tips" thread page 623 second post. I am looking to do this later on.

Guys,

I did the wing mod last night, for those planning on doing it. One word of caution...be very precise. I got lucky and mine came out just about perfect, but a hair this way or that and you'll have to buy a new wing mount kit! Looks great though.

On a side note, I did a little art project this evening. I whipped up a blank setup set that has the new IFMAR World's upgrade parts on it. Its a cut and paste job so it is not editable, but it will certainly work for those that print out sheet and take to the track to hand jam. I have it in PDF version if anyone is interested. Or I can post if someone can tell me how to post a PDF. Let me know.

S/F

Jim
