Would the new SC10 RS be competition ready for racing? Or is that brushless set up not really competitive enough to where the only thing that is needed is driver skill?

The RS will have a gear diff and the RTR shocks but other than that should be a good combo to start with depending on your local track rules.

I have the steering at 100%, I think its user error the more I look at my setup I just need to rebuild it again, check everything over because I know the servo doesnt turn fast to the right as it does to the left.. but that is electronic and I have changed it out a couple times and turns slow to the right all the time.

When I recently got my rtr, I thought I would be getting a Castle 3800 asap. As a new driver, I have discovered that the stock 3300 is plenty as long as the track is set up for it. Probably most tracks are designed so that stock brushed and brushless motors can compete. In my case, practice far outweighs motor power. Good luck and enjoy your new RS. That would have been my choice if they had been available several months ago. If you already have electonics, the FT is probably the way to go. By the way, I put a high speed servo in my sc10 and it made a huge difference. If the stock RS servo is like mine, that would be my first upgrade.
