..Both the jammy and sc10 4wd are both light trucks that the 1409 should push around very efficiently!
..I was thinking about getting that motor for this truck..

Buddy of mine is having an 'outlaw' race at his track (with free bbq btw
) so since my 4x4 is down I threw the 4600kv in my 2wd sc10. This thing was dragging the bumper down the street! All my neighbors were checking it out. . I can roll on the throttle then hit and it brings the front end up. I love having stupid power like that.
I'll prob have to dial it all out on the track though.

Spoken like a man who has never drove a Losi, if you had you would know
the Losi out of the box is hands down a better truck then the AE out of the
box.
The reason I'm trying the AE is because I loved the original RC10/MIP
conversion 25 years ago when most everyone hated it back then.
Pictures of the original SC10 4x4 25 years ago below:

I will go back to my Losi full time if I can not get the AE to work at least as
good as my Losi. In theory the AE should be much better then the Losi but
we don't race on paper" so we will see what we will see sometime in the
next year"

I'm gonna spend more time on setup. The Losi is alot more cosistent and planted. I stripped the electronics out of it and put in the associated but I think I will take the electronics off my E-buggy, put them in the Losi and run them back to back and then decide.

Let me start off by saying that yes I have read the many post on the sway bars on this thread.
I still need some help, I'm not fortunate enough to have a local large scale hobby shop / big race facility to test and tune with fellow racers or that has a large parts section for me to choose from. So spending hours upon hours and a large amount of money ordering parts just to test because my base line would be guessing seems not so smart.
I would like to ask those of you who have made well functioning not hacked sway bars could post pics of their sway bar set up, part numbers, manufacture, thickness of the bars used as well as any helpful information.
Most posts are kinda vague, so c'mon fellow racers give a hand to those racers who don't have the access to the mega track / store or to those who would just like to use/try something that has a good chance of working.
Thanks

I'm on the fence as well on going back to my SCTE but god I love the longer run times and cooler temps of the SC10! I got 22 minutes on a 5600 pack and my Tekin 4.5 sc4x was only 155 degree's. I can actually take some warmup laps before a 10 minute main!

I run my Losi & AE back to back all the time and some days it's real
depressing to drive the AE after the Losi. My advice is drive the AE
first then the Losi, it's not as depressing that way LOL"
