I have... Make sure to cover them with tire sauce 10min. before your run and you will have amazing grip, yet still have a tad bit of a slide in the corners. However Orange Bar Codes don't last as long but work the best for racing carpet.

Was able to get to the local track last night w/ my new SC10. I'm running, SS barcodes, castle 3800/14t pinion, loose clicker, stock set-up. The track is med. size indoor, high bite surface, Real RC in Blue SPrings, MO.
All I can say is WOW! This thing is awesome. Puts my old Jammin to shame. My Jammin had won quite a few club races, so it wasn't a slouch. This SC104x4 turns like nothing I've driven. I'm pretty sure this truck will add a lap to my count over 5 minutes.
I'm going to go up to a 15t pinion, I built some sway bars, and I'll race it on wed night. I was running the clicker loose as well. I'll report back on the lap times and race results.
If you have a SCRT10 and are thinking about going to the SC10, rest assured that the AE SC10 is worth every penny and out classes the SCRT10 by miles...

After adding sway bars and going w/ a 14t pinion, the truck seems real good.
So good that I was able to gain 1 lap over 5 minutes. I think I might be able to get into the 20's with this thing. The SC104 is the shiiiiite.
I love the running the clicker, the only downside is the hi-speed braking causes the truck to loop out sometimes. I'll need to work on the braking a little more.
Great truck AE! Glad I waited and didn't go w/ the losi.

if you don't lock the nut right to the bottom, you run the risk of stripping the clicker... if only the tips of the teeth are touching, they are taking a lot of force on a tiny little area.... if you lock it down, the force is being distributed over a much larger area and your clicker will last much longer.

As mentioned before it takes two full rotations from locked to activate the clicker.

Quick tip...you might want to try them without sauce first, then start adding it a section at a time working out from the inside edge of the tire. Once you sauce the whole tire, it's not easy to un-sauce...much easier to add a little more to the tire if more grip is needed.
The yellow and black Losi 2wd in the video below is my truck, running SC10 tires on the rear with no sauce. Plenty of grip on the astro surface. Very similar grip on Ozite too.
