[QUOTE=Grinder;9152335]The Picco Torque engines are very easy to run in. It is actually hard to hurt the engine during the run in period. If you follow these instructions you will be in good shape.

Thanks Uriah,

I will check it out...

After some ruff qualifiers with my other motor I ran my new Picco Torque for the finals. I bumped up twice and missed the third bump up because of a little mistake. I can definitely say it was the power of the new Picco torque. Region 1 has been very successful with the contact brand tire and now I see more racers leaning toward the new power house (Picco torque).

Question to you guys with Picco experience:

How about durability of Picco engines? I run only Nova engines and usually run the rods for 4 Liters (1st) and 8 (2nd and onwards), Bearings for 16 Liters and Piston/Sleeve/Underhead up to 30 Liters. The numbers are for training/racing club and national level.
I heard Piccos dont last that long? Any thoughts?
How about the main bearing? A modder in our region just replaces the OEM steel balls with ceramic ones and later on changes the races. So he is never changing the complete bearing...
Will Picco Torque engines run well with Nova headers and pipes?

Thanks!

The durability on the torque engines is very good. I am replacing the con rods after a gallon of hard racing, just like other engines. The piston material is very durable, and will tolerate lean runs. In my opinion the stock bearings are the best on the market right now. They are super smooth, and free in rotation. The bearings also seem to last a long time.

The torque engines seem to work well with the Novarossi, Sirio, and Picco pipes.

Murnan, some time ago you always answered in the question.novarossi 21's vs piccos's.that picco engines couldn't stay next the novarossi engines in power department.
what is so different with the new picco line that there are only good things?
