I am running one with a Murfdogg 5.5 motor. You will want to get a fan to blow on it help keep temps in check.

The biggest issue I see with running the smaller stuff is that it makes the chassis way over weight on the battery side. I had to add 1.75oz to the left side nerf bar to ballance it back out. Might as well use a RX8 and a 550 motor and dich the added weight in this case.

Craig I had some protrac wheels laying around and decided to see if they would fit dispite some having issues below are my pictures. They are tight fully seated on the hex's and show no wobble at all. Keep inm mind they aren't in motion so its still assumed a great fit..

Did anyone release the carbon hinge pin mounts yet? I just want the stock angles, no need for adjustable's.

tested mine yesturday. went a little to thick on the rear oil and had some straight line instubility. other than that, I beat the pants off my kids jammin. he is a better racer than me, but hasn't had alot of outdoor practice this year.

I am using the protrac wheels. haven't seen any wobling bad enuf to notic. I will look harder next time I get to the track

also got the new lid done today. flo-tech

Would this step be used if I'm using emulsion set up on my shocks? Remove the upper X-Ring, #91055

Page 21
Make sure to apply some thread lock to the shock piston screw. Doing so will help prevent the piston from falling off.
Remove the upper X-Ring, #91055, this will free up the shocks and takes a lot of the stiction away and the shocks will feel much smoother. Don’t forget that the shock cartridge seal tube is directional!
If you are running without shock boots, #91070, on the shocks, you must add up travel limiters to avoid damaging the bladder.

I see people in Netherlands have received their trucks and I still haven't.. What's wrong with this picture? I guess I thought by pre-ordering I'd be one of the first to get one.

Yes this is what I'm contributing today.

Has anybody encounterd a slipper that will not tighten down. I have tried everything (except hd pads, which are not avail) and the only thing AE customer service has come with is that the tension spring might be bad. I am running the 32p gear with a tekin 4.5 550.

Could some clarification be made to the first post, about which wheels fit, specifically the JConcepts Rulux's, which model? The Slash Rear/Blitz/Ultima SC's?

None of the above. They make one specifically for this application:

I did make a sway bar set though. You will really like the truck with them. I ended up running 30k in the front diff and 3k in the rear. Although I think it will be better with 5k in the rear. What did you use for diff k's

I came up with a pretty sweet fan set-up too.

Sway Bars ?

*Always felt those were just a band aid for a poor set-up....

*Using the 50k for both diff's...

* Your fan looks great, really a must have for any ESC on a 4x4 ...

*Track conditions at the Gold Cup were
very close to yours,

wet clay, high traction, a little dust....
