good call, especially the way people have been commenting about release time

How often do you clean yours? I run about once or twice a month at a local track. Generally I will run about 4-5 packs through it. I do all the general cleaning such as, using my air tank to spray it clean, then using a stiff bristled brush to scrape remaining dirt off, then spray some more. I usually spray it down and use the brush about 3-5 times until 99% of debris is gone. So how often should I change fluids in diffs? Shocks? Bearings? ECT? What other cleaning should I do? I have had the car about 3 months now and only driven it about 6 track days. I did change all the fluids, cleaned every bearing, and re-greased the spots the instruction manual said to.

What else?

I usually do a FULL cleaning after every track day.. but im anal As far as the diffs and shocks are concerned I only mess with them when the car starts to not drive like I like it... or once a month if I run every weekend. Bearings should be checked about once a month as well, dont wanna have one go out on you im the a main

totally disagree here. I love AE but expect more. They modified the section to beef up the front of the a-arm so they could have taken a little more time to modify out the riser section.

and what does short term mean? I am thinking they will not state this so they can sell out the "temporary" a-arm solution but heck, they can let their factory drivers run these temps.
Personally, I am not going to pay for corners cut!

What would you consider a FULL cleaning?

As a person that has been into this hobby for 25+ years, I have learned proper preventive maintenance will save you lots of headaches, and will ensure you will be able to enjoy your self at the track.. thats what the hobbys all about

Does anyone else's knucles slide on their outer hinge pins? I thought it may have been mine but I looked at another one and his did the same thing. I just noticed it last night so I haven't investigated to much, but I may try putting a spacer on each pin, or is it designed to slide like that?

I've noticed my right side steering knuckle has more "play" on the hinge pin than my left. The car still runs great and I don't think it really affects too much. I'm experimenting being lazy and not shimming it up...so far all is good

I agree totally on the full cleaning for two reasons... you start off the day fresh with a clean truck... so not only does it look professional but you literally put your hands on all of the parts to clean them... it means that the possibility of missing a broken or misaligned part is significantly lessened...

Grid motor mount! the stock mount drives me crazy

Whether it be for racing or bashing around, I would start with 5-5-5. It was a good starting point for me, and I have since moved to 5-7-3 after playing with different combinations
