The only time I would recommend this is for a small, tight indoor track. I converted my T4 to an SC10. It was much better indoor than my current FTSC10. Outdoor the opposite. My conversion SC10 was much more rigid than the newer plastics.

I race SCT trucks cus they have full body shells with inclosed fenders..

This allows a bit more forgiveness when rubbing car to car, making the racing all the more exciting compared to the other class's....

If the Stadium class is dead for you , try finding someone interested in swapping their SC-10 for your T-4 maybe ...

Novak recommends a 7.5 FDR for trucks (comes out to 26/75 with the 2.6 ratio transmission). The Kit, FT Kit, RTR, 2.4 RTR & Brushless RTR manuals all recommend 28/75 (6.96 FDR). Kimbrough also offers B4/4.1, T4/4.1, & SC10 slipper spur gears from 72 teeth to 78 teeth so you can play with your gearing for specific track conditions. I am currently running 26/74 (Kimbrough spur gear) on a tight technical track. Running a Novak Ballistic 17.5 set to 35° mechanical timing with a Tekin RS-Pro ESC (no-timing class so it is in blinky mode) I would start out at 26/75 and check your temps on both the motor & ESC. Gear the motor to be around 160° F after a 6 minute run. Have your timing come in late so you only get the Turbo boost and/or high timing on the long straights and WATCH THOSE TEMPS.

Hey everyone im new here bought a sc10 about a month ago love the thing so far no problems at all i go to the track all the time its great im teling ya... Any ways looking for a good way to tune it down a bit i know sounds funny but to fast for me... Ohh yea and it is brushless stock.. HELP lol

Depending on which radio you have, you could always adjust your end point adjustment on your throttle (reduce from 100).

Many ways to do it but that would be an easy reversible way.

This is interesting. Look at the pic of the front spindle Of the SC10 RS. Its AE's version of the bearing in hub like prolines kit. If you look at the hex adapter it has SC molded in the hub. Is there a 2WD buggy version???

The bigger question is - Which one will people buy: The 4WD or this?

I don't know if that's really a decision... The new RS looks to be just a fancy RTR version.

Guess I'd have to buy a FTSC10 and get the RS wheel adapters seperatly to make mine complete.

Is that a new body as well?

The receiver box as well. I want the front hubs for the B4.

Water resistant electronics is good though.

I think from a novice perspective its tempting since it has all the bits I would've eventually wanted on my truck, and I think the bodyshape is the same, just different set of decals for the Monster livery.

That is the standout feature. Hopefully they have new front rims and hexes for the B4.
