Great...I put the black gear in. by the way, I put the Durango springs on the B4...PIMP! They do not rub and the shocks feel like butter on a warm muffin!

This sounds good BUT at the same time when I look on Tower for B44 gears they have gone from the old yellow/white to a black/graphite colored gear set. Knowing that the B44 tended to have diff wear issues I would guess the black gears are meant to be stronger??

I would think an AE rep could fill us in on this.....

What are the parts/options a T4.1 FT would need to be competitive on the track?

What spare parts do you got?

I'm looking for good T4.1 FT vids but they're quite hard to find so if you have some links.. Thanks!

I got the springs that were the closest to the Brown fronts and Green/Black rears in spring rate.

I got the following:

TDR330054 Black fronts
TDR330059 Red fronts (currently on car)
TDR330063 Green rears
TDR330065 Blue rears (currently on car)
TDR330067 Red rears

This is the spring comparison chart I used.

Anyone make or experimented with a narrow chassis for their B4.1?

If you are going to BASH with it, I would definately recommend that you get the RPM Front A-arm upgrade package! You WILL snap front a-arms otherwise. Here's a link: http://www.shopatron.com/products/pr...er=70762/177.0

If you stick with the stock A-Arms, get the aluminum front hinge brace! Best $12 you will spend. With that on, all you will do is break a-arms. Without it, you will break lots more!

Nothing. It comes out of the box like a champ!

Spare parts, pick up some rpm rod ends and some arms (front)

I'll break the ice on a Friday night....where is everyone??? There has to be some B4/B4.1 owners who have nothing better to do on a Friday night than have a bunch of beer at Buffalo Wild Wings and pack for the Easter trip...unfortunately, it means leaving the race car home and packing the crawler with a chance of rain/snow.

jajaja had some family over for some card games I still haven't done anything with my B4 yet though... I'm trying to decide whether I toss my mod motor I already have into it. But then that means another bit of money down the drain trying to get everything I need...
