Default Back in the shop this coming weekend

Glade I was able to watch the 2011 Sin city Nitro Challenge mains Sunday, with a Ty Tessmann expert truggy and Ryan Mansfield expert buggy win. Very smooth - fast driving by all. I couldn't say enough about how well I felt this race event was run by Sin City & Crew. Thank you for your hospitality on Sunday. And it was especialy nice to talk first hand with a few the guys running reconditioned-resized engines with confirming zero performance issues. Very rewarding report, especialy in with many racers doing their best to afford this hobby the present ecconomy.

I will be home in the shop this weekend servicing quit a few orders for the guys patiently awaiting my return. Thank You!

Kind regards,

Ray

Default Coldfusion fuel choice last 2 years

Thanks Jefro!
Coldfusion has been my fuel choice last two years. I found it leaves a reasonable castor-synthetic residue piston+sleeve sealing surfaces, with never any issues piston top + head button there point of combustion. In addition, never a problem with premature bearing wear. I can "almost" identify a piston+sleeve set from an engine running Coldfusion.
Back to work.

Hello Ray,

I have a JX-21 Ninja and I had some flameout issues at the last race. I used new glow plugs, but that didn't help. I took the engine out, no pipe, and held it by the clutch to see if the engine rolls over by just its weight and very slowly, it did. Should I bring in the sleeve/piston? Thank you.

Default looks like tomorrow I can rebuild my Buggy

Thanks John...your invoice arrived, along with Paypal confirmation.

Inpuressa,
Sounds like there isn't much of a seal there. Generaly you will see blowby signs on both piston and sleeve liner surfaces at exhaust side. Take an eye loope or mag glass and note the residue above window. After removing the pisto + sleeve set and looking the surfaces over for yourself, ship it. Be sure you look the bearings crank pin + conrod over real good.any questions call text or email me.
Kind regards,
Ray

Jason,
It was nice speaking with you on the phone today. Thru the years reconditioning-resizing piston + sleeve sets I have found that simply some engine models resize better than others. Most guys racing that would be haPpy enough with half total number gallons longevety as your engine, and still running. Sweeeet!!!
Patrick should receive his package same time your OS Speed Worlds gets here, Monday.

Kevin + Jon go out in the AM tomorow to.
