My wife has fun but she has trouble getting used to the steering. She got 2nd place in her very first race. I was so proud of her. She will still get pissed if I spend a lot on MY stuff. Haha! Gotta love these women for putting up with us and our toys!

Nice! Been reading this thread much?

And sanding it is probably better than getting a metal spur. They are soooo loud! And it may not even fix the problem.

I've literally read EVERY page haha..
Tried posting a while back..and they'd never go through..this one did though haha :P

Guess I gotta try sanding it..What was the it 600 grit? Couldn't remember :/

otherwise..this thing looks nice! Seems to be alot more lighter, race material then my ofna ultra lx1e :P

Oh yeah..got a hobbico servo (Re badged Hitec 7955TG).

As well...is it recommended to go with aluminum chassis braces?

You can go 400 and 600 grit if you want. Sand in a figure 8. And you've got 2 grid mounts?

And pics or you're full of it!

^So true! Found more info here then anywhere else! :P

I'll put some pics up too..Have everything assembled except everything that goes on the chassis

Only have one grid mount (Inner support)...

Waiting for the tekin 1900kv system to get to my lhs (work there..so I get a good discount :P)
and the 4s lipo, and the rx...otherwise I'm done

Almost as good a discount as I do

And I'm trying to get the thread of info together. But working 50 hours a week and class every night but Friday, it's hard to get everything done. I'm posting from class now.

Oh? So you're going to pile all the good info together? That's a good idea! Saves reading 400 pages haha..

Wondering..not much body options are there? Don't like the JC's forwardish cab design for the rc8e..Not much choices?
