With the tekno chassis, the car becomes much narrower, causing it to become more responsive and more stable.

Yes, it is 3mm longer in the tail section, Steven hartsen won the nitro challeng pro electric bugg with the new chassis first time out, The chassis plants the rear end on the car, and makes it easier to drive and more balanced in the air. It is definitely worth the money.

I believe AE suggests to start with 30-35 shock oil.
The electric and nitro cars are the same "car" so the setup shouldn't really be different. If you want to look though. There is a setup guide in the back of the RC8be owners manual. I realize you don't have one being a conversion, but they are in PDF kn AEs site.
I can't comment much on the 50T spur. You'd have to put that in a calculator. Unless someone has experience.
And M2s should be good for loose outdoor.

Hey guys, I've had tons of PM's and emails about these chassis, and here they are, The new V2 Nitro and Electric Chassis, They are 3mm's longer, these are the same chassis that the entire AE team has been running for the past couple months, with great success, The gas chassis was the same chassis maifield tq'd the worlds with. For those who have all the updated parts already, this completes the package.....

Stupid question. Got some Turnigy packs coming. They have 5.5mm bullet connectors on them. Is that the way to go or should I use a different style connector. I use Deans on my starter box battery. If the 5.5mm connectors are the way to go do any of them work. I see Tekin, Protek, Castle, and Venom ones. Leaning towards the Tekin or Protek. Do most of you run the wires directly soldered to the motor or bullet connectors there too?

I ordered a Tekin combo today and ordered it with the 2050 motor. Is their a big difference between this and the popular 1900? I also ordered a Reedy 4s 60c battery. I have a friend with an SC8 that has a Castle 2000kv with a Reedy 4s and his is crazy fast. I will be racing against him in the unlimited class. With my rc8e factory team with this motor/battery be close to his SC8? Thanks Also what kind of servo should I buy?
