ha! me too, nitro just means all the wrenching of an electric plus a motor to tune... I'd never have time to race or practice

new topic:

Sway bars

After seeing a video on an rc8be, and real cars, I'm curious to know my options on the topic.

Any informed peoples amongst us?

thicker means both sides stay more equal *maybe for more clay/flat type tracks?

Thinner, more independant * more rough turrain?

Anyone know the options?

thanks!

Pretty spot on there already. I run silver all the way around for the clay track, silver front gold rear on blue groove, and silver front and black rear on real rough or loose tracks.

traction roll, or grip roll, is where you have so much grip the buggy flips over when cornering..

Damn I wish I didn't know what traction rolling was! So annoying haulin but around a corner and then boom! Your tumbling to the outside of the corner!

Default Wing twist

Just finishing off my build and noticed the wing has a massive twist in it.
Has anyone experienced this, and if so what can i do to correct it? I have tried to bend it in the opposite direction, but it just springs back.
Anthony.

Default Diff riser

Just wondering, do you guys use the diff riser with the Grid mount? I would assume the mounting screws would need to be shortened if the riser is not used.
Anthony.

My wing also started out like that. I mounted it an just kept twisting it the other way. If its too bad, you could heat it up in some boiling water.

A thinner front sway bar increases front off-power traction, but has less on-power steering. A thicker front sway bar decreases front off-power traction making the steering smoother entering the turn, but has more on- power steering. A thinner rear sway bar increases rear traction and decreases on-power steering. A thicker rear sway bar increases stability in the middle of the turn and increases on-power steering. Thicker sway bars are more stable on high-speed, high-traction tracks. Stolen outta my losi hand book. Im not too sure on the options A-E has for sway bars but by moving the end point mounts on your sway bars in will give you a firmer sway bar feeling. Sway bars are often overlooked as most set and forget, but its one of the best and easiest tuning option as far as handling goes. Hope this helped
