Yes i had 14/46 Spur & 12/40 Diff Ratio to try and smooth out the acceleration... the track was pretty rough.

Its all about weight position & transfer. Arms forward will transfer more weight to the rear of the car, less steering low speed as there is not as much weight on the front end, but the car will slide out more in the rear due to weight shifting in the corners.... it will act a lot like a drift car in a sense. I personally dont like that setting too much.

I ran my front arms forward for better jumping and the rear arms in the middle, its quite neutral but the main reason is it jumps & lands better this way.

Well must say we ran the new 808 @ the Nationals just gone and what a rock solid performer the new chassis is super smooth drive chain and that's the way it stayed all weekend I must say its a great feeling knowing the bearings are up to the job and after pulling the car apart yesterday the bearings are as good as the day they went in. The new car with its new changes are up on the 10 spec that's for sure, Big thank you to the rest of the xray team for a great weekend every one made us welcome and made for a great weekend of racing even if the weather gave us grief. Look forward to some of the gents heading over to the W.A state titles.... O' and i was a bit skeptical on the new shell but after seeing one painted up they are a great complement to the new car....

Big thanks to HEI for the support @ the Nationals as well jaicob really loved the atmosphere and racing (and the shirt Ari)...

What shock springs, pistons and oils were you boys running at the Nats and which sway bars?

Thats if it works the same for the 808-2010 but if not can you give me your recommendations on what I should use please?

We run 1.1x10 hole pistons front and rear with 37.5wt up front and 32.5 in the rear with blue greys worked well 2.4mm sway bar up front and 2.6mm on the rear... The other gents had different set ups with piston and oil but the end result was very close....

Here is a vid of the above set up..

As you can see the 808 seamed settled and jumped nice...

I was running 1.2mm 8 hole front 550w xray oil, 1.1mm 10 hole rear 500w xray oil with dark blue springs, I think ari and mick zlotowski were using same piston setup but heavier oils and blue gray springs.

Sway bar front 2.4mm rear 2.8mm, but i dont think the track will be the same as it was a couple of weeks ago.

The stock setup is quite easy to drive, just change the shocks to what you think.

Well the Western Australia state titles were run over the weekend and Team Xray had quiet a good show with Justin Snape KC Shore Brent Thomas and Jaicob Mann all running Buggy and Jaicob running Truggy as well. Weather was great all weekend and Sunday the Dark clouds did roll in and just sprinkle enough to turn the track into a perfect track for finals. All drivers driving great all weekend and Xray had a good showing in the Buggy final with Juzza KC and Jaicob getting in the Amain. The 2011 spec 808 is one hell of a chassis now it is a fantastic platform right out the box now...

Here is the buggy finalists

And Jaicob in Truggy

Truggy was super quick all weekend just bad luck had us down in the Final with the right rear roll center screw coming loose and forcing us out Qualified 4 over all... Buggy we had a good run finishing 7th at the end 808 was great right through the main.....

will get some set ups and more pics up soon...

was good to have some more drivers over hear to talk set up and get the buggy fined tuned even more thanks Juzza & KC Jake enjoyed you guys being there.... See you gents at ACT.....
