Well since it didn't exactly work out for me, I guess there is another way.. I do have them both done now. Going to crack the Orion discovery 5-port tomorrow morning for it's first ever firing.. I have a Comp heat heater, I am going to run 3 heat cycles with that, as they recommend, this evening. And, then in the morning maybe later tonight I'll fire up that bad boy.. It's first race is scheduled for April 2..

BTW I got my Orion Alpha Discovery 5 port and 2013 pipe today. Oh I am jonesing to get that thing mounted and broken in.. Should start break-in Saturday..
That Discovery is amazing,I am using the 6.5 insert with the 2058 in one car and 7.5 with 2013 in another. Tons of power in both and great runtime.

I just finished tank 3 on the box.. First 2 were idle, end of 2nd I did some light blipping.. 3rd tank I did a bit more blipping, and revving 5000 rpm higher from time to time. about half way through the 3rd tank temps dropped from 260 uncovered to 190 with a towel covering head.. I think it is time to start driving this bad boy.. Slow loops should be fun to start with..

BTW I am running the Discovery 5 port with a 2013, it seems to be real snappy right now, and it is uber rich.. I can't wait to start leaning this thing..

I've seen the CRF 3 port run, and am considering picking one up myself later on.. I picked up the 5 port discovery due to price, and so far I am very happy with it, but I am still in break-in.. The CRF 3 port is very smooth, and is an excellent engine for buggy or truggy I race with an Orion team driver, and he is currently running 3 port in both and is doing well with them. He has plans to try the 5 ports, but hasn't yet.. I'll let you know how it ends up..

I think you'll be happy with either. Unless you just really like a ton of bottom end I think the Tebo edition would be an excellent choice..

No Problem, I am either getting the Tebo/King WCE or a 3port CRF for my next, I just can't decide.. Hopefully After I get this discovery broke-in it'll all be clear..

Final got a full quart/liter of fuel through the discovery. Really starting to come to life.. It slings the HB D8T around quite nicely.. I'm going to try very hard to get another quart through it before the day is over, because it will be my last chance before Friday, and then I'll be at the track getting ready for opening round of MO State Series in Jeff City..

Another 1/2 quart/liter and the rain came.. Engine was really starting to lose some pinch.. 3/4 of the way through the last tank before the rain it fattened up, like some one richened it about 2-3 hours. Before that was much more crisp and clean..

A friend of mine just purchased this engine but it did not come with a plug. What plugs are recommended for theses engines?
