I would advise balance charging them and running them through a couple of cycles before you head out to the track. I had one Zippy that became seriously unbalanced during the first cycle. Ever since then, it's been fine, though. Go figure. It's worth checking, as the LiPo cutoff on the ESC will not keep a cell from going too low if it becomes seriously out of balance (and this can potentially ruin a brand new battery).
Let us know what you think of them. I just noticed that they're 20C batteries. I'd be interested in a back-to-back comparison to a 40C battery. Too bad you're not local!

So I had to mount the brace offset from center to get it to bolt to the chassis, Is this normal ?

I started putting my RC8BE Kit together this morning and noticed that the front chassis mount brace doesn't line up to the mounting hole in the chassis if you mount the brace in the center of the Steering top plate.

Yes that should be right, there is only one way to mount the braces.

After a few slow charges / balances (letting it complete the slow balance - took forever) / discharges and they seem fine.
