That is very good advise. Dont try to run them anywhere near cutoff till you get a good amount of cycles on them...

Let us know what you think of them. I just noticed that they're 20C batteries. I'd be interested in a back-to-back comparison to a 40C battery. Too bad you're not local!
It says they are 25-30c on the battery. What would you say a bad cell looks like, 4.20, 4.20, 4.20, ???

I noticed if any of the individual cells is > 4.25 (after charging) or < 2.8 (after discharging) its usually on its way out.

I had to charge and discharge before mine were balanced.

thanks
I started putting my RC8BE Kit together this morning and noticed that the front chassis mount brace doesn't line up to the mounting hole in the chassis if you mount the brace in the center of the Steering top plate.

So I had to mount the brace offset from center to get it to bolt to the chassis, Is this normal ?

Yes that should be right, there is only one way to mount the braces.

I put mine on a balance charge and when I left it, it read 4.19, 4.19, 4.19, 4.19. Is that about right? I told wife to disconnect it when it beeps.

I had some that were way off - 0.92V difference. http://www.rctech.net/forum/8717771-post3592.html

After a few slow charges / balances (letting it complete the slow balance - took forever) / discharges and they seem fine.
