Hi Guys,

The production EVO IV should have gear box covers. The car have new gears, which means a new transmission ratio, the gears are stronger, with the optional alumium one available for the front one-way. Even the Tamia designer admitted himself, the EVO III had a gear problem. I took notes of my conversation with most people, I just have to find it to have more exact information.

i really really want one of these beasts now. But i would prefer to buy a chassis already fully loaded, wouldnt waste my time with the standard version then having to hop everything up, sounds like a waste

thats whats stopping me from buying it

Oh my gosh, Steve... you blend in well with the Japanese folks! If I do not know you personally, I would say you are Japanese...

Looks like the alumn bulkheads are two pieces construction. I think it can take off gears by remove the upper piece. That would be great.

Steve said they're a five piece gear box; there's a picture above.

Yes, it's a 5 piece gear box. The designer is very pleased with the design of the gear box, however, he said he is concerned about whether or not the average builder can aligned the gear box correctly and straight because of the amount of pieces involved.

Hey Steve, any information about those Type B3 tires ? Would be sweet if they release a tire that takes the place of the old B, as today at the TCS here, you needed the B to make a result (and it's discontinued unfortunately).

Beaut!!

Was wondering why they are mirror-imaged...

And that definitely explains the red & white arrows!!

Steve:- imho a Jap calling you "Korean" is a pretty major insult.
(Japs' culture as a whole hates Koreans, not just a recent thing.)
I guess it boils down to the context of then current conversation.

But don't go around telling any Japs they look like Koreans.

Especially the ones with tattoos...

WC... be careful calling our Japanese brothers "Japs"... that's an insult by itself. Nothing personal, just giving advise as I do have Japanese friends...

Actually, I wasn't aware of this until they pointed it out to me recently... I think it had something to do with WWII and stuff... anyhow, back to topic... Dang, that EVO IV is beautiful...

ya, got quite a few friends from there too... the younger ones
don't mind the "J" word anymore, maybe their parents mightn't.
Could be a generation thing.

Just don't call them the "N" name though, even their pet dogs
will scowl at you.

Strangely don't know too many Koreans. Went to school with
quite a few, but they never kept in touch afterwards.

EvoIV looks great and I think its got more new innovation than 415.

If the TRF guys can get it working for them, they'll be a force to reckon with at teh Worlds.
