Did you install the bolt the correct way?

It looks like it hits. But it's actually not even close. Just can't get the angle.

I had to cut my body a bit above the steering linkage. Didn't seem to be much problem.

My body didn't have that little raised portion above the linkage and it bound a bit. Small trim with xacto knife and it was fine. Wouldn't even notice if you weren't looking for it.

Yeah, now that I look back at it. It's been dremeled. But it didn't hit really anyway with the screw turned the right way.

Here is mine. And you could definitely trim less. Gregg's has a small rise above the linkage that wasn't on mine at all.

I had to trim mine as well. Seems normal. Mine looks just like Gregg's.

I went to RCX today and saw an RC8be with wider stanched shock mounts. I spoke with the AE driver and they are in production but haven't worked out the details for the a-arms yet. They may have them in their shop. I'm def going to look into it.

Do you guys think soft pack lipos will be ok at the track? I don't think my hard pack ones will be here in time. So I am going to order two soft pack 4s 5000 from hobbypartz since they don't have any hardpacks. 3 day shipping this time to make sure I get them in time!

People run them all the time. I have one. They just aren't ROAR approved and never will be.

I assume 40c? Why is the 40c smaller then the 30c?

Yes it's 40C. And are you comparing hard case to soft pack? The soft pack is always going to be smaller.
