I'm pretty sure they're for Astro turf, which many UK tracks are made of. He must be in the UK to have one already.
Looks great, seems as if they're will be enough room for a small rx and small esc (Like the Tekin RS) in front of the 96mm pack! I never liked putting the esc on the motor like Losi recommends because of the heat.

LPF servo plus 96mm battery.. Shouldn't be a problem getting an average sized ESC in there.

Are you running mini pins in the front on the track in Ottawa or stagger ribs? I will be running on carpet as well when my 22 comes in and I picked up some yellow minipins for the rear and yellow stagger ribs as this is what I used in Toronto at Fastcats before they closed. No one could get mini pins to work at Fastcats but it was large for an indoor track with many sweeping corners. The track I'm running at now is smaller and more technical so I think minipins will be better with maybe the outer and inner rows of pins removed to maintain some stability. Any suggestions?

Hey Guys,
Sorry but I have been off-line the past few days.
1. I am running Mid-Motor
2. I am the only US Team Driver Running Mid-Motor.
3. Dustin definately ran Rear-Motor for Reedy, and ever since.
4. The TLR team will all be running Rear-Motor at Cactus this week, with me being the only exception starting with Mid-Motor.
5. The Mid-Motor car has been very good. It doesn't "feel" as dialed in as the rear-motor setup, but I am still tuning in the setup. With a mid-motor car, even the setup doesn't feel 100% yet, I am still doing faster lap times and qualifiers than with my rear-motor car.
6. Setup wise, I am very similar to rear-motor. The front is the same except I went to 56 piston/25 wt. instead of 55/27.5. The rear I am at 25 (27.5), the shock is inside on the tower (middle), hubs back (middle), and 50g of weight on the rear shock tower (14g behind the ESC). Rear motor is ().
Hit me up with any other questions!
