Looked through this thread a decent amount and didn't really get a clear answer on what I was looking for. So, I have been running a olser P5XS for some time now with a J-P3 pipe which gets the job done, but I feel there is more than likely something better for it out there. I typically run a mediumish size track. What nova header/pipe combo is best for this motor? Thanks

blanc,

I'm not Monty, but I'll tell you what he reccomended to me for my 5K and now P5XLT. 9853SS or 2084SS with the 021 header. I went with the 2084 and 021 header. Power is pretty smooth with it and runtimes are supposed to be a little better than the 9853

I think this is the one Davies was saying to look into. I seen there was a " tuned" version also.....but thats what i got you for...

But also interested in the Nova35 plus 21
http://www.serpentamerica.com/shop/p...&cat=80&page=1

Not sure the differences on the 7 port vs the 9 port. I know their outdoor track is BIG and fast.

Thanks

Hope I'm not butting in but I figured I could offer some help.

Both engines are super quality and you would be happy with both but here are the general on track differences.

Kangaroo: smooth power, great fuel milage, good for smaller tracks

35plus: monster power, great small or big track engine, fuel hog

I don't how experienced you are in on road but I would say most will make runtime with both, the more experienced you become and faster you get the 35 will be harder to make 5 minutes with. If you get pretty dialed in the 35 could lower your lap times by around .2 - .3 per lap.

Hope this helps!
